Electrolytic Organic Destruction
Electrolytic organic destruction (EOD) systems treat
organic contaminants in waste or process water by oxidizing the organic
compounds. EOD systems provide an alternative to ozone, biological,
or chemical oxidants for industrial wastewater and process water
treatment. EOD can convert many organic compounds into carbon dioxide
or products that can be treated with biological methods. EOD can
also reduce biological oxygen demand, BOD, or chemical oxygen demand,
COD in treatment processes. EOD offers another tool to reduce volumes
of expensive hazardous wastes. |
