| ECC-11™ Cathode coating can be cleaned and rejuvenated (unlike
competitive coatings) and once iron deposits are removed and
voltage performance is restored. ECC-11™ can be applied over
a variety of substrates including mesh, louvers, sheet, punched
plate and screen. Usage does require cell disassembly. |

VRS™
VRS™ is an on-site, in-situ applied cathode coating for chlorine
membrane cells
- Cell disassembly not required
- Spare cathodes not required
- Cathode shipment not required
VRS™ is comprised of noble metal salts and
is supplied in ready-to-use 1 liter bottles. When added to the
caustic compartment during
cell operation VRS™ Instantaneously lowers the cell voltage by
lowering the hydrogen over-potential. VRS™ can be applied over
coated, fouled or uncoated cathode substrates. VRS™ can be used
in all technology suppliers cells
- ELTECH, Asahi Kasei, UHDE, CEC, DeNora, Lurgi, etc
- Monopolar,
BiPolar, Dense Packs
VRS™ will deliver 200-300 mV savings vs. bare nickel cathodes.

| VRS™ can restore low voltage performance lost due to catholyte
impurities such as Iron, Nickel and Mercury.
VRS™ will not contaminate the caustic product. Procedures are
available for VRS™ usage in single electrolyzers or entire circuits.
VRS™ economic payback is typically about 3 months based on power
savings alone. VRS™ can be used to increase manufacturing rates
when rectifier capacity is limited.
